Crab Cooker

Efficient Cooking and Cooling in One Integrated System.

 

The Carsoe Crab Cooker is engineered for fast, consistent, and high-quality crab processing. A full rack of crabs is lowered into the insulated chamber, where boiling water is circulated to ensure uniform cooking across every batch. With a cooking cycle of approx. 20 minutes, you secure stable product quality and predictable capacity throughout the day.


When the cycle finishes, the cooker automatically drains the hot water and pumps in cold water to cool the product for 40 minutes. This rapid cooling prevents steam from spreading into the factory, improves working conditions and protects surrounding equipment from moisture and corrosion.

One machine - both cooker and cooler - means less handling, fewer operators, and tighter hygiene control.
Integrated temperature and water level sensors maintain ideal processing conditions and protect the system from low water levels.

 

The adjustable overflow plate gives you full control of water levels, while the woven mesh filter ensures only water exits the system.


All water movements are controlled by Carsoe-operated pneumatic valves for smooth integration into your processing line.

 

The Crab Cooker is available in both a single and double cooker. Following the cooking and cooling, the rack continues to the Crab Glazing Bin
