State-of-the-art Shrimp Trawler Equipped by Carsoe

Since the acquisition of Carnitech’s seafood activities, Carsoe has had great success within this segment. However, this order beats all records with an overall order amount exceeding 40 mil DKK.  

In cooperation with DSI and Holmek, Carsoe will supply all on-board production equipment incl. Horizontal Automatic Freezers, warehouse facilities, palletizing equipment as well as elevators.

This is Carsoe’s second order within 12 months for equipping a new built trawler, which confirms Carsoe’s leading position on the market.

A Wellknown Customer

The Carsoe team has delivered production systems to M.V. Osprey Ltd. from Nova Scotia throughout the last 20 years.

Northern Osprey III is the third arctic trawler purchased by M.V. Osprey Ltd. This new trawler is set to operate on the Canadian North Atlantic east shore primarily meant to fish cold-water shrimps.

However, the concept of the design is to deliver a flexible solution making it possible to adjust the trawler to other fishery types.
