The introduction of our Product Compactor will transform the onboard workspace for the better. Up until now, shrimp are compressed manually, using a handheld manual shrimp stopper and a lot of human energy, which placed a significant physical strain on the operator.

In the past, the quality of shrimp blocks could be compromised during the manual compression process. When operators applied excessive force or stopped too suddenly, the top layer of shrimps could be crushed – or not compressed enough, leading to an inconsistent block quality. It was challenging to maintain a standard of excellence with this method, often to the detriment of the product's quality.
The consistent pressure of the Product Compactor offers optimized water content in each block, which is critical in achieving stronger and more uniform blocks.
The block quality is enhanced further by an adjustable pressure setting that ensures the precise amount of compression. In the initial compaction, the shrimps are compacted leaving room for a top-off with additional shrimp. A second press is then performed to achieve a fully compact block.
