Installation Status on Twin Vessels for H/G Processing

We are currently installing two identical H/G factories on board Sjurdur Tollaksson and Lerkur.

The vessels are being built one after the other, allowing us to transfer experience and maintain momentum from the first installation to the next.

The factories are designed to handle:

Redfish
Mackerel
Cod
Halibut

They cover the full process from receiving and sorting to freezing and palletizing, with a processing capacity of 42,000 kg per 24 hours.

Turnkey Factory Layout

The complete factory design includes conveyors, buffer bins, V16 freezers, packing line and a palletizing system with integrated wrapping to ensure safe storage at sea.

Together, the equipment supports stable product flow, efficient freezing of the catch and helps reduce manual handling throughout the factory.

On Sjurdur Tollaksson, the mechanical installation is now complete. The next phase includes automation, testing, and commissioning to prepare the factory for operation.

Throughout the project, we work closely with both the vessel owner and the shipyard to coordinate installation activities and keep progress on track. As construction moves forward, our team is ready to continue integrating equipment and supporting the next stages of the build.
