Crate Storage System for Chicken

For the Nitsiakos poultry plant in Greece, we are delivering a high-capacity crate & box storage system designed to cold store boxes of fresh chicken products at +5°C between primary / secondary processing and palletizing.

The buffer hotel is designed as a 12 hotel systems with a total of 8352 shelves. Each shelf can hold between 2-4 boxes depending on box sizes.

Reliable Poultry Production

The system is engineered around 12 individual hotels that operate independently to ensure reliable production. If one or more hotels by out of operation the remaining hotels remain unaffected and production can continue without interruption.

The hotel system is manufactured in stainless steel for easy cleaning according to food production standards.

Automated Production Data Registration

As an integrated part of the system, we are also delivering the Insights software platform.

The Carsoe Insights platform will present actual production data about crate count, time etc. For the shop floor managers as well as the office staff.

This gives a real-time overview of the storage capacity and product sorting currently in storage. In addition, the system allows for historical data and traceability on overall processing performance, product counts etc. This automated data collection will provide valuable data for the Nitsiakos team.
